The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description As a Social Work Supervisor 1 LCSW, your duties will include:
• Supervising social work staff
• Diagnosing mental, emotional, behavioral disorders
• Administering and interpreting tests and measures of psychosocial functioning
• Developing and implementing assessment-based treatment plans
• Providing psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic treatment
• Completing required records and documentation

Minimum Qualifications St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center is recruiting for a Social Work Supervisor 1 LCSW to supervise social work staff and plan, develop, implement, and evaluate social work programs and services. Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates within State Service can be considered for provisional appointment if they have:

• 2 years of service as an LMSW 1 or LMSW 2 including any language parenthetic for these titles and
• Current license and registration as an LCSW.

OR

Candidates within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have 1 year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
