Duties Description Under the supervision of higher-level staff, the incumbent of this position will provide support to Region 11’s Planning and Program Management Groups. The Office is responsible for the delivery of the Five-Year Capital Program, Local Program Administration and Emergency Relief efforts, Project Development, Inter-Agency Coordination, Data Collection, and Transit/Transportation Demand Management. It is expected that the selected candidate has experience or knowledge in writing, communication, computers, and Microsoft Office products.
Duties MAY include, but are not limited to:
• Develop, maintain, and update database programs.
• Assist in the preparation, review, evaluation, and analysis of a variety of reports and other documents specific to the assignment.
• Attend project and program meetings.
• Coordinate and prepare monthly program area reports.
• Act as the IT Requestor with IT related requests for the Planning Office
• Purchase supplies for the office and assist with various purchasing.
• Scheduling meetings for planning and program management staff
• Maintain Telecommuting Document Compliance Tracker information.
• Reconcile PCard transactions in SFS.
• Coordinating with Interviewers for receipt of documents needed for Hiring Package
• Maintenance of Organizational Chart & Telephone List
• Miscellaneous projects as assigned by supervisor.
Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.
Additional Comments Salary to include an additional $4,000 location pay.
